Watch this video as we tell you about the Trilinga Kshetra.<br /><br />Don't forget to Share, Like & Comment on this video<br /><br />Subscribe Our Channel Artha : https://goo.gl/22PtcY <br /><br />1 Trilinga Desa (Desham) or Kshetra is a sacred stretch that is located in South India which stands for "the land of the three Lingas".<br /><br />2 The notable point here is that the three sacred mountains actually mark the boundary of the entire Telugu dominant land, which we presently call Telangana.<br /><br />3 It is also said that the words Telugu and Telangana are derived from Telinga which is another word to Trilinga Desa.<br /><br />4 Lord Shiva is invoked in form of Lingas in this expanse is the land that are installed on the three mountains.<br /><br />5 These three temples are Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple in Telangana, Srisailam’s Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple in Rayalaseema and Draksharamam or Bhimeshwara Mahadev Temple in Coastal Andhra.<br /><br />6 The famous legend from ‘Andhra Kaumudi’ states that, Andhra Vishnu had built a massive wall connecting the three mountains with Mahendra hills and formed three sacred gates.<br /><br />7 These three gates were then visited by the three eyed Shiva, who was accompanied by a host of divinities and resided here in the form of three Lingas.<br /><br /> <br /><br />8 Since this time the country has been named Trilingam.
